While You Were Sleeping (2017) is a South Korean drama series directed by Oh Choong Hwan. The script is written by Park Hye Ryun, who previously worked with Bae Suzy on her acting debut in the television drama Dream High (2011) and with Lee Jong-Suk in the dramas I Hear Your Voice (2013) and Pinocchio (2014). The series stars Lee Jong-suk, Bae Suzy, Jung Hae-in, Lee Sang-yeob, and Ko Sung-hee.
While You Were Sleeping (2017) is about 29 year old Nam Hong Joo (Bae Suzy), an unemployed journalist living with her mother, who dreams about awful events that take place in the future. She soon meets a 29 year rookie prosecutor, Jung Jae-Chan (Lee Jong-Suk), who she encountered in one of her dreams and he begins to have parts of dreams of future events as well. Jung Jae-Chan causes an accident between his car and a car Nam Hong Joo is riding in to save her life and the life of a man the car would have hit. The man that was saved happened to be a 29 year old police officer, Han Woo-Tak (Jung Hae-In). After this incident Prosecutor Jung decides he wants nothing to do with trying to stop the dreams from coming true, as failing to succeed would become overwhelming. Eventually, though, he has to do something, and the two begin to put their dreams together and struggle to stop the nightmares from becoming reality. Soon they discover that the policeman they saved has dreams as well, and they all begin to work together, becoming The Flying Dragons.
