Alice (2020) [Aelliseu] or Hotel Alice is a South Korean drama, fantasy, sci-fi romance television series directed by Baek Soo Chan. It stars Joo Won and Kim Hee-Seon. It aired on SBS from August 28, 2020 through through October 17, 2020. It will be airing on Netflix in 2020.
“Alice” tells the story of a man and a woman who are separated by death, but are reunited when they are able to overcome the limits of time and space. Yoon Tae Yi (Kim Hee-Seon) is a genius physicist who holds the key to uncovering the secrets of time travel, while Park Jin Kyum (Joo Won) is a honorable detective who learns of a hidden secret about himself while attempting to solve the mystery of the time travelers he has discovered. He meets Yoon Tae-Yi and they unravel the secret of time travel together.
Park Jin-Gyeom (Joo Won) is an emotionally controlled detective who, while investigating a mysterious case, realizes the existence of time travelers. These time travelers are able to travel to the present day from the future through a space called [Hotel] Alice. Park Jin-Gyeom struggles to prevent unwanted things from happening due to those traveling throughtime. During this time, he meets genius physicist Yoon Tae-Yi (Kim Hee-Seon) again. She had died in his past and Park Jin-Gyeom insists that their meeting is a fateful reunion. She holds a key to time travel and together they not only unravel the secrets of time travel, but also secrets about themselves.
