Cunning Single Lady (2014) [Angkeumhan Dolsingnyeo] is also known as Sly and Single Again. It is a South Korean romantic comedy television series starring Lee Min-jung and Joo Sang-wook. It aired on MBC from February 27, 2014 through to April 24, 2014.
Cunning Single Lady, Na Ae Ra, is pretty but she does not consider herself smart. All she wants is to settle down and be a housewife to a civil servant. While working at her family’s restaurant she meets Cha Jung-woo, a geeky engineering graduate student who is studying to enter civil service and they get married.
During their 100th day wedding celebration, Jung-woo announces that he has quit his job because he has an idea for a business. Na Ae-ra can’t do anything about the situation so she takes on multiple jobs to keep their family afloat. However, Cha Jung-woo’s businesses fail one after another. After four years of struggling through the marriage, and after secretly having a miscarriage do to all the stress, Na Ae-ra divorces Cha Jung-woo. Only Three years after the divorce, Ae-ra discovers that Jung-woo has become very successful and wealthy, while she is still trying to pay off the debts accrued during their marriage. Knowing this is unfair, Ae-ra schemes for revenge and she becomes and intern at his business. Jung-woo believes she is after him again because he has become wealthy, and the two go at it like cats and dogs. However, there is something more behind their fighting and it just might be that they never got over each other.
