Gonul (2015-2016) [Hatirla Gonul] is a Turkish romantic drama television series starring Onur Saylak, Gokce Bahadır and Engin Ozturk. It premiered on October 11, 2015 and is currently streaming on Newflix.
In Gonul, a surgical nurse, Gonul (Gökce Bahadir), has lost her memory in a car accident and is falsely convinced that she is married to a psychopathic surgeon, Tekin (Onur Saylak), who is her ex-fiance. He is indirectly responsible for the accident she was in and he is attempting to keep her from remembering her new love, Yusuf (Engin Ozturk). She knows innately that she loves someone else, but she is unable to escape her ex’s control long enough to find that love again.
