Itaewon Class (2020) [Itaewon Keullasseu] is a South Korean television series directed by Kim Seong Yoon and starring Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-myung and Kwon Nara. The story is about Park Sae Ro Yi who opens a restaurant in Itaewon. It is based on the webtoon of the same name and it is the first series to be produced by the film distribution company Showbox. Itaewon Class’s has the third-highest viewership ratings in JTBC and the seventh highest rated drama in Korean cable television history. Itaewon Class aired on JTBC in Korea from January 31, 2020 through March 21, 2020 and is streaming worldwide on Netflix.

Along with his staff and his manager, Park Sae-ro-yi and his band of misfits strive against the most powerful conglomerate in the industry in an effort to become successful in the local food scene on the vibrant streets of Itaewon.
