It’s Okay, That’s Love (2014) [Gwaenchanha, Sarang-iya] is a South Korean television series directed by Kim Kyu Tae and starring Jo In-sung, Gong Hyo-jin, Sung Dong-il, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo. It aired on SBS from July 23, 2014 through September 11, 2014.
It’s Okay, That’s Love is a story about the growing relationship between a compassionate, psychiatrist named Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo-jin) who has a negative view of love and relationships, and an arrogant, yet famous, author of bestselling mystery novels who is also a popular radio DJ, Jang Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung). The two meet on a talk show panel delving into the criminal mind and they instantly rub each other the wrong way. When Jae Yeol’s girlfriend plagiarizes his work, he is forced to take cover from the media storm against him until he can prove his innocence. He ends up having to move into a house he owns but which is being rented by Hae Soo, Jo Dong Min, another psychiatrist and Hae Soo’s senior colleague, and Park Soo Kwang, a young man with Tourette syndrome. As Jae Yeol and Hae Soo’s personalities clash, it leads to constant bickering until they come to a place where they can help each other heal from their own deep-rooted emotional scars stemming, many stemming from childhood.
