Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014) [Misaeng – Ajik sara itji mothan ja] is a South Korean television series based on the webtoon series of the same title by Yoon Tae-ho. It is directed by Kim Won Suk and stars Im Shi Wan, Lee Sung Min, Kang So Ra, Kang Ha Neul, Byun Yo Han and Kim Dae Myung. It aired on tvN from October 17, 2014 through December 20, 2014.
Misaeng: Incomplete Life was filmed in Jordan, the first Korean drama to do so. Actors Im Si-wan and Lee Sung-min shot the series’s prologue in Amman, the capital of jorday, and in the cities of Petra, and Wadi Rum. Im Shi Wan once again took on his role as the protagonist, which he had played in an earlier film adaptation called Incomplete Life: Prequel (2013).
Misaeng: Incomplete Life is a drama series about the work and everyday life of a group of co-workers in their twenties who start jobs at a big multinational company.
Jang Geu Rae (Im Shi Wan) had hoped to become a professionally Go player after having played the game very successfully since childhood. When his plans fail, he is equipped with only his GED and Go game strategies and forced to take a job as an intern in the office of a large company and he must learn to cope with the cold reality of the corporate world.
