Suspicious Partner (2017) or Love In Trouble [Susanghan Pateuneo] is a South Korean television series directed by Park Seon Ho and starring Ji Chang-wook and Nam Ji-hyun, with Choi Tae-joon and Kwon Nara. It aired on SBS from May 10, 2017 through July 13, 2017.
Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) is a prosecutor in training working for Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook). Eun Bong Hee becomes a suspect in the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Jang Hee-joon (Hwang Chan-sung), the District attorneys son, and Noh Ji Wook becomes the prosecutor for her case and he is told to convict Eun Bong Hee at all costs. It appears that she is being framed and Noh Ji Wook has evidence that proves this and uses it in court at the last minute to drop the case on a technicality. Because of his honesty, he is loses his job, and ends up working in a law firm. After Eun Bong Hee is released, she realizes that she has fallen in love with Noh Ji Wook, and she believes that they were fated to meet. Noh Ji Wook, however, believes their meeting was ill-fate and wants nothing to do with her. The real murderer is still at large and Eun Bong Hee is determined to find him and to clear her name. She hears someone whistling a tune outside the courthouse after her trial and she realizes it is the same tune she heard at the murder scene. Her attempts to find the murderer get turned around and the murder comes after her, forcing Noh Ji Wook to become involved in an attempt to catch the killer. During this time, Eun Bong Hee and Noh Ji Wook discover that they are closely connected by their pasts and Noh Ji Wook realizes he has feelings for Eun Bong Hee, but it appears to be to late.
