Years after surviving horrific abuse in high school, a woman puts an elaborate revenge scheme in motion to make the perpetrators pay for their crimes.
Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) is a high school student who dreams of becoming an architect. Her dreams never materialize because she is forced to drop out of school after suffering brutal bullying. Years later, the perpetrator of her bullying gets married and has a child. Once the child enters elementary school, Moon Dong-eun becomes her homeroom teacher and puts in motion her elaborate plan to take revenge against both the perpetrators and the bystanders who stood by and watch as she was tortured.
The Glory is not for the faint of heart. Some scenes are based on an actual event that took place in 2006 when a group of middle schoolers from Cheongju, South Korea, spent a month extorting money from a classmate, repeatedly beating and burning her.
