Welcome to Waikiki (2018) [Eurachacha Waikiki] is a youth South Korean comedy television series starring Kim Jung-hyun, Lee Yi-kyung and Son Seung-won. It aired on JTBC from February 5, 2018 to April 17, 2018. It was renewed for a second season on June 6, 2018 and the second season premiered on March 25, 2019.
In Welcome to Waikiki three struggling young men join forces to open the Waikiki, a guesthouse venture to finance their own film project, but it is anything but profitable.
In Welcome to Waikiki three very different young men including Kang Dong Goo (Kim Jung Hyun), bad luck incarnate, who dreams of becoming a film director, Lee Joon Ki (Lee Yi Kyung), an eccentric actor who performs for a living, and Bong Doo Shik (Son Seung Won), a freelance writer who spends most of his time doing nothing, open a guest house in Itaewon named Waikiki where many foreigners come to stay. They have no clue how to run a guest house, but they are eager to earn money so they can produce their upcoming film. Dong Goo’s younger sister Kang Seo Jin (Go Won Hee), manages the Waikiki. Also living in the guest house is a single mother named Han Yoon Ah (Jung In Sun) and her baby, and Dong Goo’s ex-girlfriend Min Soo Ah (Lee Joo Woo). Needless to say, the Waikiki may not be the best source of income.

Welcome to Waikiki 2 (2019) [ Eurachacha Waikiki 2] is a South Korean television series starring Lee Yi-kyung, Kim Seon-ho, Shin Hyun-soo, Moon Ga-young, Ahn So-hee and Kim Ye-won. It is the sequel to the 2018 series Welcome to Waikiki. It aired on JTBC’s from March 25, 2019 to May 14, 2019.
A not so popular actor, Lee Joon Ki (Lee Yi Kyung) runs a guesthouse called Waikiki that is facing bankruptcy. In order to save the guesthouse, Lee Joon Ki asks his friends to invest in the Waikiki. One of those friends, Cha Woo Shik (Kim Seon Ho) a very picky person who dreams of becoming a singer. The other friend, Kook Ki Bong (Shin Hyun Soo), used to be a promising baseball player, but instead is stuck playing in the minor leagues. After Lee Joon Ki’s request, they all put their money into Waikiki Guesthouse and move into the guesthouse along with Han Soo Yeon (Mun Ka Young), Kim Jung Eun (Ahn So Hee), and Cha Yoo Ri (Kim Ye Won).
